Augmented Reality is an online application that allows users to interact in real time with computer-generated imagery. In this example, the application uses your webcam to display 3D content when it recognizes a special marker.

Viewing tips:

  • It works best if you can lay the marker on a flat surface
  • If the image is too small, move the marker closer to the camera
  • Keep any glare off of the image
  • Make the room bright, but keep any glare off of the marker

You will need a webcam and the latest Flash Player from Adobe.

Get Flash Player v10.

Use the marker from our ad in MLB's All Star Game Program or print one out.

Print out a marker.

Lay the marker on a flat surface and point your webcam at it. You can also hold it, just don't bend it.

Now, just launch our Augment Reality viewer to see the award in 3D.
